Week 1 Focus: paragraph format, writing process
Thematic Focus: Love and relationships End Goal:Students will complete three paragraphs on one of the prompts on the "Week 1 Homework".
Week 2 Focus: brainstorming, transition words, thesis statement, and order of ideas
Thematic Focus: Challenges of being a teenager End Goal:Students will complete one essay on their own, outside of class on either effects of dropping out or effects of teen pregnancy. Students will complete one in-class essay on the effects of peer pressure.
